The Life and Death of Kevin Carter - The Photographer in Sudan

Farai Chideya talks to Dan Krauss, the director of The Death of Kevin Carter, an Oscar-nominated documentary about the life, work and suicide of a Pulitzer-prize winning South African photojournalist.
Carter's winning photo shows a heart-breaking scene of a starving child collapsed on the ground, struggling to get to a food center during a famine in the Sudan in 1993. In the background, a vulture stalks the emaciated child.
Carter was part of a group of four fearless photojournalists known as the "Bang Bang Club" who traveled throughout South Africa capturing the atrocities committed during apartheid.
Haunted by the horrific images from Sudan, Carter committed suicide in 1994 soon after receiving the award. Carter wrote back to his parents in Johannesburg. "I can't wait to show you the trophy. It is the most precious thing, and the highest acknowledgment of my work I could receive."

Two months after receiving his Pulitzer, Carter would be dead of carbon-monoxide poisoning in Johannesburg, a suicide at 33. His red pickup truck was parked near a small river where he used to play as a child; a green garden hose attached to the vehicle's exhaust funneled the fumes inside. "I'm really, really sorry," he explained in a note left on the passenger seat beneath a knapsack. "The pain of life overrides the joy to the point that joy does not exist."

PLEASE DON'T WASTE FOOD AND WATER - Kisah Kebuluran Manusia

Don't keep this message to your self, forward it to your friends, so our friends and all people will thank God for food and water that they already have. This is one more reason why we have to thank God for the food that we can have easily.
But in the otherhand....ironicly, we still waste
the food that we buy
I feel very GRATEFUL for what I have today.......

We are so Blessed for the wonderful works of God's hand in our life today, just think of this ..............

'I felt very fortunate to live in this part of the world. I promise I will never waste my food no matter how bad it can taste and how full I may be. I promise not to waste water. I pray that this little boy be alleviated from his suffering.

I pray that we will be more sensitive towards the suffering in the world around us and not be blinded by our own selfish nature and interests. I hope this picture will always serve as a reminder to us about how fortunate we are and that we must never ever take things for granted.
Think & look at this...when you complain about your food and the food we waste daily...' MAY ALL HUMAN BEINGS BE FREE FROM SUFFERING!!!!
Please don't break this, keep on forwarding it to all our friends. On this good day, let's make a prayer for the suffering in any place around the globe and send this friendly reminder to others.

Giant Croc - Buaya Raksasa

A giant three-legged crocodile has been wowing the Web after a tourist photograph capturing its freakishly large stature emerged online.
The striking creature named Brutus - which looks as though he is a special effect in a film - is said to be a starring attraction of a riverboat cruise in the Adelaide River, Australia.
Although some photos critics have questioned the legitimacy of the shot,  the sightseer and the boat company have claimed that both the monster crocodile and this photo are indeed real.
At 80 years old, the 18ft-long saltwater croc can be seen leaping out of the waters of the Adelaide River to retrieve a slab of raw meat.
Bystanders in the photo look in awe as Brutus, who is believed to have lost his front right leg during an altercation with a shark, makes the awesome jump.
